Who we are
My lifelong journey in Fiber Arts started with a potholder loom as a child. I remember choosing colors, making and selling those potholders around the neighborhood as a little girl. A love began there, one that has continued through the years. I played around with different names for my business with two top contenders, Kawauso designs for my weaving and Wicked Tint for dyeing. My husband thought Kawauso was too esoteric for people, so I combined both efforts under one umbrella. I have explored all forms of fiber arts, but what I keep coming back to are weaving, spinning and dyeing. The exploration of color and how colors interplay with one another fascinates me.
